Take part in this and you WILL ride home more safely Good food and drink available all day at reasonable prices Meet Thundersprint stars in the afternoon Everything, except food and drink purchased, has free admission. The show opens at 10am and goes on all day. Last year’s Thundersprint Bike Show was a huge success with over a hundred race, classic and custom bikes on display - together with manufacturer test rides and a huge trade area. For 2010, the size and scope of the show will be increased as we settle into our new venue right in Northwich town centre. We will have use of the whole piazza and adjacent car park which will make for a spectacular venue. The show is located in front of Northwich Memorial Hall - which some of you may remember from previous Cavalcades. This is the big building near to the traffic lights where we turn left at the end of the dual carriageway. The Memorial Hall is located no more than 300 yards from the centre of Northwich and there is very easy access to the shops, restaurants and pubs via a pedestrian underpass. The actual show area for the bikes is on one side of the Memorial Hall and we intend arranging machines in three lines - each one with a theme. It is no exaggeration to say that this is one of the best sites for a bike show anywhere in the world. The whole area is tiled and there are rows of trees, lawns and park benches: Tuscany in Cheshire! The display of bikes was fantastic from classic to race bikes and custom machine. Opposite the show is the River Dane, with its tree lined walks and a large park - in all, a very beautiful setting. As always, well-behaved pets are very welcome to come and see the bikes along with their humans. There is no charge to enter your bike in the show and parking too is free of charge. However, space is very limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Please complete the form below and return it to us as soon as possible. Exotic bikes were everywhere like Peter Kent's Grand prix Yamaha TZ 700 - and everything has open access. As with last year, everyone entering the show will receive a souvenir which will be presented by one of our star guests. Adjacent car park provides a huge space for trade area and participant parking. In keeping with the rest of the Thundersprint weekend, spectator admission is free of charge as is parking in Cheshire West and Chester Council controlled car parks. On the opposite side of the Memorial Hall to the show is Whalley Road car park. This is a very large car park - almost as big as Baron’s Quay car which is the location for the Thundersprint race track. The trade stands and manufacturer’s test rides will be located in this area. Everyone showing their bike will be given a parking pass for this car park so, if you have a non-road legal bike you will only have a very short distance to push it to the exhibition area. During the day, the Memorial Hall restaurant will be serving hot food - from very early in the morning. Their meals are absolutely top quality and very reasonably priced. The Memorial Hall is very easy to find, being right in the centre of the town, opposite the “Seafarer” Restaurant. For those of you with GPS, the location is: Northwich Memorial Hall, Chester Way, Northwich, Cheshire, CW9 5QJ. Invitation to Participate in the Thundersprint 2010 Bike Show Saturday 8 May Northwich Town Centre The show was one of the great successes of Thundersprint 2009 and we want to extend and develop this part of the Thundersprint weekend. We will have designated areas for classic, race and custom motorcycles - as well as more mainstream bikes. We would be delighted if you would show your bike to what will be a large and appreciative audience. There is no charge for entering the show and there will be no winners, or losers, in terms of who has the best bikes. However, all pre-registered entrants only will receive a unique souvenir which will be presented by one of our star riders at around 3pm. There will be refreshments, liquid and solid, on sale all day. There will also be ride outs and test rides available. In short - a lot happening in a very relaxed, informal atmosphere.
